Sand & Björk at Maison&Objet 2025 – Bringing “Casual Formal” to Paris

Sand & Björk at Maison&Objet 2025 – Bringing “Casual Formal” to Paris

In September 2025 we crossed borders and brought our Scandinavian vision of work and living to Paris. From 4–8 September, Sand & Björk exhibited for the first time at Maison&Objet, one of the world’s leading design fairs.

Maison&Objet proved to be a showcase for new ideas and bold perspectives – and for us, a milestone. Our journey began during the pandemic, when we realised how profoundly our homes – and our working lives – were changing. We wanted to create furniture that responded to this shift: functional and ergonomic, but also beautiful and lasting.

At our stand visitors discovered Duo, our sculptural dining table with a hidden desk tucked beneath the surface, and Pop, our flexible laptop desk designed for the hybrid age. Both pieces reflected our design philosophy – “Casual Formal” – blending professional function with a relaxed, timeless aesthetic.

We also unveiled an early prototype: Tide, a poetic storage cabinet with doors inspired by sand in movement – a glimpse of what’s next from Sand & Björk.

All of our products are crafted from real wood, finished with natural oils and made in Sweden with sustainability and longevity at heart.

Maison&Objet became an inspiring opportunity to meet people from around the world, start new dialogues with retailers and designers, and share how Sand & Björk is rethinking workspaces – at home, in the office, and everywhere in between.
